September opening Coronavirus Parent information

RIsk assessments

We regularly review our risk assessment in response to the new guidance and changes in the situation locally.  Our most recent risk assessment and control measures are available to view here.

Staggered times for collection and drop off.

During our September re-opening we have followed the Government's guidance with reducing the number of adults on site we have designated entrances for each year group.

We ask that the children using the Sandringham Road entrance are left at the gate to walk into school alone unless there is a specific reason that this is not appropriate.  If this is the case please speak to your child's class teacher to make alternative arrangements.

For the first two weeks we will be offering packed lunches only.  We will be eating lunch outside if the weather permits, if not we will be eating in the hall and are hoping to be able to offer hot lunches by the end of September.

Parent pay

In line with the Government's guidance to reduce the number of adults on site and prevent adults from entering the school building without an appointment we are asking that all breakfast club childcare from 7.45-8.00 and breakfast club from 8.00-8.45 is only available via pre-booking and this MUST be done on parentpay.  Lunches will need to be booked and paid for via Parent pay.

Therapeutic classrooms

As part of our work to support the children on their return to school we have adopted the therapeutic classroom approach to our classrooms and our teaching.  This approach is part of our wellbeing curriculum and is crucial to supporting the children in developing their resilience and emotional wellbeing.

Nursery and FS2 (reception)

This year we have had a change to our normal routine to support the children who are joining us for the first time in nursery or starting school in September.

Please see below the letter which was sent on the 8th July detailing all of the arrangements.

Please see our newsletter with full details of the arrangements for reopening.
