Who We Are

Cultural team

Led by Mrs Melling

Art, Music, SMSC, before and after school club provisions, wrap around care, outdoor education and forest school.

Our cultural team is made up of our art subject lead (Ms Hickling), our music leads (Miss Thorpe and Mrs Tuff), SMSC lead (Mrs Melling) and our outdoor education lead (Miss Thorpe). The cultural team works together to ensure that our children are exposed to a wide variety of music, art, other cultures and the environment.  They are supported by Miss Spencer, who runs our Eco-club, Miss Rawlings and Mrs Harrowing.

Humanities team

Led by Mrs Tuff

Geography, History, RE, MFL, Literacy

Our humanities team is made up of our RE subject lead (Mrs Tuff), our early reading team (Miss Thorpe, Mrs Bradley and Mrs Tuff), literacy lead (Mrs Bradley) and our outdoor Geography and History lead (Mr Bowden). The humanities team works together to ensure that reading runs through all we do.they work together to ensure that our curriculum topics are closely linked to our literacy work.  They are supported by Mrs Graham, Mr Woodward and Miss Cross.

Well-being team

led by Mrs Bradley

PHSE, SEND, PE, ICE team, Therapeutic teaching

Our well-being team is made up of our PHSE subject lead (Mrs Bradley), our learning and behaviour mentors (Miss Keys and Mrs Wilding), SEND lead (Mrs McHugh), PE lead (Miss Fuller)  and our designated mental health lead (Mrs McCullagh). The well-being team works together to ensure that our children are confident in supporting their and others mental and physical well-being. They work to ensure our pastoral interventions and therapeutic teaching award. They are supported by Mr Allott and Mrs Gude

STEM team

led by Miss Fitzpatrick

Computing, Science, Design and Technology, Maths

Our STEM team is made up of our design and technology  subject lead (Ms Hickling), our science and computing lead (Miss Fitzpatrick) and our Maths lead (Mrs Melling). The STEM team works together to ensure that our children are exposed to a wide variety of scientific inquiry, experiments and scientific/mathematical reasoning.

They are supported by Miss Allen, Mrs Taylor and Mrs Watson.
