The Mark 10 Mission

The Mark 10 Mission, in partnership with The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, is an exciting new project for Catholic primary schools.

We have a burning desire to share the Word of God with as many children as possible. Our liturgies bring them together to hear the Gospel, pray and worship. We are setting out on an amazing journey to bring the children of the UK to Jesus and everyone is invited to come along!

‘People were bringing little children to him, for him to touch them. The disciples scolded them, but when Jesus saw this he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. In truth I tell you, anyone who does not welcome the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’

Mark 10:13-15

Be opened – Episode one

God is always ready to speak to us.

In this liturgy, we hear the Gospel encounter between Jesus and a man who cannot hear or speak. Jesus heals him and opens his ears.

Liam reflects upon how God wants our ears to be open to hear His voice in our lives.

Fr Columba then leads us in Worship with the song ‘Lean Back.’

Episode two – ‘Who do you say I am?’

Who is Jesus to you?

In this liturgy, we listen to Jesus asking his disciples an important question about His identity. Peter, with the help of the Holy Spirit, answers Him correctly.

Fr Henry challenges us to pray about who our own hearts tell us Jesus is. Angel then leads Worship with the song ‘Jesus What a Saviour.’
