At St Joseph’s we follow the Read Write Inc Phonics Scheme. This includes the school using the RWI bookbag books, ensuring that all children take a reading book home, which phonetically matches their phonics ability. Every child can also take a book home for pleasure.
This then feeds into our whole school reading scheme and we follow the Project X reading scheme.
